Act I Summary: After a war has destroyed the earth, Khai wakes up alone in a parallel world where only the religious buildings remain. Eventually, she finds her deceased mother who doesn't recognize her yet she still came down from paradise to save Khai from the unseen creatures. These creatures hear them and try to hunt them down. Khai and her mother run toward a religious building to find a light that is a portal to paradise. 
 

Act II Scene III: Khai enters the church and waits at the door for her mother to join her. A bright light begins to shine through a circular opening of the roof. She hears her mother scream: “Gooo I am coming!”. As Khai moves towards the light, the door shuts her in. Khai is confused about whether she should wait or go. Soon the church is surrounded by the heavy presence of the unseen knocking on the doors and windows.

Act II Scene IV: The light is gradually fading away as Khai is tucked in a corner. She doesn’t know if she should try to save her mother or go towards the light. She gets up and tries to open the door, but it wasn’t opening. Khai calls out to her mother several times but there is no response. Soon Khai realizes what had really happened and she uses the portal of light to enter her final destination
